It's official! I am now Mrs. Tony Brown!
Here comes the bride! You can't tell it here but I was crying like a baby, lol.
My best friend and my biggest fan. My mama and my daddy.
Yep, there's the man that has my heart. I love this man so much.
A happy bride indeed!
Kiss kiss! This was after the wedding. We we're finishing up our pictures and apparently someone caught us getting some kisses in.
Husband and wife..........and we shall live happily ever after...........
My husband with my niece Reanna who was our flower girl.
I love this pic, it's one of my faves and probably my choice to go in the local paper.
A funny, but cute moment. My hubby said "I Do" to soon and the pastor was like "hang on, I know you're ready, but not just yet." It was cute.So that was our wedding, well not all of it but some. And I have to throw in that handmade all the boutonnieres and my bouquet as well. I know you can't tell it, but they're artificial. They look and even feel like a real rose, but they will last a lifetime! I'll be back in a few days with the regular routine. Hopefully I will have a give away soon!

An Easy How- To
Wow, it seems like it has been forever since I posted a how to. With all this wedding planning going on I've neglected my blog and to my readers I'm so sorry. I will try to post more, I promise. Well the other night I was bored and feeling crafty so I decided to go create something. I didnt have anything in mind until I saw a cardboard box sitting in my bed room on the floor. Here's what I made!
These cute and shabby letters are made to spell out "NEST", because our home is our nest indeed.
I decided to sit them atop this canvas painting of a hydrangea in my craft room.
Here's what you'll need to make these:
cardboard
scissors
acrylic paint
pen or pencil
box cutter (optional)
First, decide how big you want your letters. It's really up to the individual. Mine are about 4 inches tall. Next get your cardboard out and lay it flat on a table. Now draw an outline for your letters. Remember, they need to be block letters in order for this to work. After you have each letter as you want it you can begin to cut them out. You may want to go over your outline with the box cutter to make cutting with the scissors easier. After you have each letter cut out you can then paint them. Mine are painted different colors, but of course you can paint them any color you would like. The bottom of each letter should be flat so they can stand (prop) on something such as a shelf, mantle, window sill, or any other place you would like to put them. You can also make smaller versions to use for scrap booking or make larger ones and embellish them. Be creative and have fun!

Go Pink
Oh how I love pink. Which is probably why I chose it as my wedding colors. I actually chose to use light pink and a darker or hot pink. My fiance's groomsmen will boast coordinating black tuxes with light pink vest and ties and darker pink boutonnieres and my bridesmaids will wear dark pink dresses. I found my wedding dress yesterday! It's an amazing dress. So in celebration of my upcoming wedding this post is dedicated to everything pink. Here are some great "pink" finds.
These pink chrysanthemum earrings are so cute. They have so much detail in ever little petal and the bright pink color is just popping with excitement. These can be found in the Etsy shop of dangsworld.
Every girl loves herself some great bath products. I know I sure do. What better to lather your body in than pink buttercream scented body polish. Mmmm how delightful that must be. Pick yourself or a girl friend one of these up today in the Etsy shop of CozyMoments.
These cookies look almost (almost) too good to eat. These would be the perfect addition to any wedding or bridal shower. I would love to have these at my wedding and this one is all ready ready for my big day with the B on it. :) Check out these and more edible goodies in the Etsy shop of cakeboxcookies.
Paper pom pom's are the new thing. You can find them in kits from Wal Mart to Michael's. Martha Stewart is even selling paper pom pom kits now. These dainty paper pom pom flowers are situated on a silver wires. These would add a girly touch to any room. I could really see them placed in a milk glass vase. These are from the Etsy shop of PomLove.
And from my own shop is this lovely fabric covered switch plate cover. This switch plate has been covered in Michael Millers Dandy Damask fabric in pink. This switch plate will add an instant update to any room at an affordable price. Find this and more in my Etsy shop cms36451.
These just might be the cutest hang tags I've ever seen. These are great for attaching to Easter gifts. Each pink bunny has been hand stamped on an oatmeal color hang tagged and then pink glitter and pom pom's were added. Those pink pom pom tails are the cutest things! These probably won't last long so go over to the Etsy shop of jillzabell and grab them before they're gone.
Have a great weekend!

Throw A St. Patrick's Day Party At Home!
Hi all. Wow, I've been slow posting the last few weeks. I had a blast at Mardi Gras! It was toooooo much fun. Now it's time to move on to St. Patrick's Day. Rather your Irish or not, it doesn't matter. It's just another reason to have an awesome party and drink a lot. Here are some great Etsy finds to help you have an even better party! May you and yours have the luck of the Irish!
These great green cups are perfect for your St. Patty's Day festivities. These are vintage Anchor Hocking glasses. Grab this set of four from the Etsy shop of cutfromthesamecloth.
These little shamrock stickers are perfect for any St. Patricks Day party. Use them as shown on the bottom of some Hershey's kisses for your guest or as envelope seals for your party invites. For only $3 you will get 3 sheets of these, totaling 72 from the Etsy shop of letterhappy.
Make your friends green with envy with this stylish spreader. Use it at your party to make your buffet all the more interesting or take it as a gift for the hostess. This and more lovelies can be found in the Etsy shop of Beadz2Pleaz.
Napkins, napkins, napkins, you can NEVER for any reason have too many napkins. Spruce up your party with these green napkins. And guess what? They can even be embossed with your name. Pick up a set of 50 in the Etsy shop of terequade.
You will definitely need those napkins to catch these crumbs. For only $10 you can grab yourself (and guest of course) 1 dozen of these enticing green shamrock cookies. You can find these and more edible goodies in the Etsy shop of MariaElenaEvents.
These paper clovers will give your home the festive St. Patrick's Day feel it needs. I would suggest stringing these from door ways, windows, a mantel, and anywhere else your home needs to be festive. Grab these for only $1 in the Etsy shop of ScrappersByDesign.

Get Ready For Spring!
I just love Spring time. The breezy air, sunshine, birds chirping, flowers blooming, it is all so beautiful. Today in Alabama it was almost 80 and I felt like we skipped Spring and went straight into Summer. Here are some beautiful items from Etsy that are sure to get you in the mood for Spring. I know we all look forward to warmer weather!
This makes me wish I had wings and fly in for a visit. This sweet little bird house has been painted a rustic blue and has a rusty little metal roof. This and more wonderful bird houses can be found in the Etsy shop of baconsquarefarm. She also has some bird house garden stakes I really liked.
I love wind chimes. Just hearing them "sing" with each breeze that passes bring me much joy. The beautiful green glass and copper chimes of this piece go so lovely together. Grab a set today and hang on your porch or in a tree. From the Etsy shop of tskDesign.
Perhaps Spring time makes you want to get outside and get your hands a little dirty. If so you should certainly grab some of these Zinnia seeds and watch your flowers grow. Zinnias make beautiful arrangements. You get 100 seeds for only $2.00 and once you cut some off new ones will come! From the Etsy shop of RathburnSmithFarms.
Of course all of those Zinnias will need some water! So grab yourself an adorable mosaic frog watering can. He is just so cute. I would suggest leaving him out for all to see, unlike those plain watering cans we tend to hide away in the storage shed. From the Etsy shop of artsyphartsy.
No flower bed or flower pot should be without it's own stake. What a lovely stake this is. The beautiful teal and coral colors of this copper stake go so well together. Adorn your garden with one of these lovelies from the Etsy shop of jangeisenGardenArt.
Hungry for more? Sure you are. Forget going to the market for corn, plant your own. I love sweet corn cooked on the grill. It is so yummy! Simply butter it, add a dash of salt and pepper, wrap in foil, and cook on the frill for about 30 minutes. Absolute goodness! Organic sweet corn seeds are from the Etsy shop of HomegrownHealthy. And guess what? This is a PIF, only 20 cents for 25 seeds.
